Season 3 of American Horror Story

Granted I've only seen the first season and about the first 1/4 of the second season, but I'm looking forward to the 3rd season of American Horror Story. Maybe because they are using this hauntingly beautiful cover of "House of the Rising Sun" by Lauren O'Connell.

If you haven't seen the teaser trailers for the 3rd season you need to watch them. They are brilliant. I won't be uploading them all, but go to FX's website and watch them all. They are amazing and like a lot of others have said whoever does the promotion for this show are excellent at their job.

I just recently found a trailer that  actually shows a little bit of what the season is going to be about. Sounds a even more interesting. Here it is below.

The Madness is About to Start

In just about 3 weeks the Horror Madness will begin. This is my 3rd year doing the madness and I always enjoy it. I love trying to cram in as many horror movies and tvs shows as I can during the month of October and seeing what my other team members and other horror geeks are watching. As usual I will post my weekly list on here and if anything needs to be reviewed I will do that as well.

This year is going to be a bit interesting. We've canceled netflixs and other instant video luxuries while we have been dealing with trying to get jobs and finances in order. This means I don't have my netflix queue or movies like I usually do unless we get it back up during October. I have amazon prime and hulu so that might be what I use, but other than that I am not sure how I am going to get in as many shows and movies like I have in the past. So this year might be my worse yet, but we'll see. I don't know if I'll get as many video nasties which is the theme since those are either hard to find or there's not way I can find the time to watch them with my son always running around. Might be a lot of kid friendly shows and movies for me this year. We'll see though I'm sure we're going to see riff trax do Night of the Living Dead in theaters.

I'm Not Dead

I promise that I am not... though you would think so with how I haven't posted for a while. I was busy with school, and then work and now applying for jobs. Plus, I have my queue of horror movies, but I don't want to use them up yet since I have The Madness next month. Well, it's not official, but I haven't had an issue getting into it the last two years. I already mention the theme which is one I again am not familiar with but, still going to be fun.

 Soon Walking Dead season 4 will start as well season 3 of American Horror Story. I have yet to finish season two, but that's because it's not on Amazon or Netflix and trying to find it has been hard. This season's trailers have been really creepy. My favorite is the one that uses House of the Rising Sun. That song always gives me the chills.

I have no idea what's going for Halloween this year. Not sure if anyone is having parties or if I'll be doing the Halloween camps at work again. I wanted to take a sewing class to learn how to sew properly, but I couldn't afford it. I want to work on a Rogue from the X-men's animated series for Phoenix Comic Con this upcoming year. So ideas are still flowing for what I'm going to do. All depends on what our plans are. Though I should get things started just so I can start saving and working on how to make it.
